The Hilton Design Guide is the single most authoritative source of information on building a Hilton hotel. It is one of four extranet sites that Highwire has created for Hilton.

Highwire has created an extensive extranet which describes every element in the development of a Hilton hotel. From an initial introduction to the chain and its history, the Hilton Design Guide provides essential information on hotel requirements and operational patterns as well as detailed descriptions of each facility within the hotel leading to architectural specifications and supplier details where appropriate.

The entire site is kept up to date by Hilton staff using a simple-to-use content management system which enables Hilton to add pictures, descriptions, specifications, project details etc etc.

The guide has been developed so that individual hotel projects can be worked upon collaboratively so as to speed the construction process and so that, at the end of a project, a complete as-built record exists for each hotel.
